Woman in her sixties dies after twocar collision in Meath

first_imgA WOMAN HAS died following a two car collision in Co Meath.The incident occurred on the Athboy Road at 6.50pm yesterday.The woman, who was in her sixties and was the driver of one of the cars, suffered a serious leg injury.She was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where she died in the early hour of this morning.The driver of the other car was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown, but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.Anyone with information is asked to contact Trim Garda Station on 046 9481540, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111, or any Garda Station.last_img
