NORWALK — Oscar Rubio bled to death in minutes after a shot was fired into his chest that fractured his rib, and punctured his lung, aorta artery and heart, a medical examiner testified Wednesday. Opening arguments were heard and testimony began in the trial against Randy Aguila, 19, of Pico Rivera on Wednesday. Aguila is charged with murdering Rubio, 26, of Whittier on Sept. 22, 2005 in a car-to-car shooting. Aguila was arrested for the murder nearly two months after the incident, on Nov. 20, 2005 when sheriffs deputies accidently stumbled upon a murder confession in his car.last_img
